Established in 1910, The James E. Nichols Memorial Library is a historic public library serving Center Harbor, New Hampshire and neighboring towns. We also welcome visitors from far and wide who come to enjoy our quaint lakeside village. We offer an impressive collection of books as well as an array of digital services. We pride ourselves on our attention to patrons, our extensive adult fiction collection, and our delightful children's area. We have curbside service for your convenience. The library is open Tuesday evenings and every Saturday morning in addition to weekday hours on Mon, Thurs. and Fri. This beautiful library was donated by Nichols as a memorial to his parents. It is listed on the National Register. Be sure to visit us!
