The mission of the Library is to serve as a community center for information, learning, inspiration, and enjoyment for all. The Franklin Square Public Library supports residents living in School District # 17 which includes parts of Franklin Square, Garden City South, West Hempstead, and Elmont. The Library holds a wide range of fiction, non-fiction, audiobooks, DVDs, Blu-rays, music CDs, ebooks, and online databases. The Library also provides numerous programs and services for all ages, including story times, crafts, museum passes, book discussions, and much more.
