Sparking Curiosity. Inspiring Learning. Creating Connections. Chapel Hill Public Library is among the busiest public libraries in North Carolina, serving an average of 1,700 visitors per day. We are a department of the Town of Chapel Hill, serving the residents of Chapel Hill and the Orange County community. Our 63,000 square foot library includes an outdoor terrace space, teen room, large sunlit reading room, computer lab, youth services library, classroom space, Chapel Hill Community History lab, a digital production studio, meeting rooms, study spaces, and more. Free WiFi is available inside and out. Outside the library is Pritchard Park, with 34 acres of public land and trails.
