Independent Hill Library is part of Prince William Public Libraries, consisting of 12 branches throughout Prince William County and the City of Manassas, providing free access to books, e-books, e-audio, print and digital magazines, Digital Library, and DVDs. PWPL also offers free educational and entertaining programs for all ages. The 2,059 square-foot library offers two computer stations with internet, fax, and photocopying services, and free Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is also available in the outside pavilion that is surrounded by pollinator gardens filled with native plants. A one-mile Story Trail is located behind the library and is updated with new tales seasonally.
